Vinsight is a Sydney based, fine wine distributor servicing the NSW and ACT wholesale wine markets.

From our beginning in 2009 Vinsight has firmly established itself as a supplier of quality boutique brands to the NSW/ACT wine trade. Our primary focus is the on-premise and fine wine retail markets, although we service all channels. Vinsight is recognised for the quality and stability of our portfolio and the personal service we provide.
We service accounts from Southern NSW and ACT, throughout Sydney, Newcastle, and on to the Northern Rivers and Queensland border. Our team combines many years of fine wine selling, retail and hospitality experience with a passion for the wines and winemakers we represent.

Kerry Smith

Being born (on the last day of harvest) in the picturesque Clare Valley SA, Kerry grew up surrounded by vineyards, wineries and the people who worked them. While becoming degree qualified in Design, Kerry also worked in hospitality, catering in Cellar Door outlets in Clare before relocating to work in the kitchens of some of Sydney’s iconic restaurants.

Having a strong hospitality background and an affinity for wine, Kerry relished the opportunity to sell wine into the Sydney restaurant trade, advancing her career and experience through specialist wine companies to leading national on-premise sales strategy for Fine Wine Partners. At Wine Source she focussed on business development, channel strategy, team recruitment and improvements in field execution before leaving to take a breather via some consultancy work.

Working with winery and distribution clients much of this work was in marketing strategies, route to market solutions, recruitment and systems development.

But the lure of sales and 'getting her hands dirty' was too strong and so Vinsight morphed into the fine wine distribution business it is now, proudly representing highly sought after producers.  Kerry was working closely with winemakers again and back amongst the trade where she has an enviable reputation for excellence in delivering results; a reputation earned with customers and winemakers alike.

Roberts' background is very diverse, after a number of years in retail management he went into B2B sales and account management on a national level in Australia before spending a couple of years working in asian markets, based in Singapore.

With more years in the drinks trade than he cares to remember, Robert is an industry specialist, a great team leader and an astute marketer, in fact until recently he had been lecturing in marketing for a number of years at one of Sydney leading private colleges.

Robert is the retail specialist of the team, and also manages Vinsight administration.
