Eden & Barossa Valley, SA

Fi & Col Sheppard established Flaxman Wines in 2004 when they purchased the vineyard in the picturesque Eden Valley, Barossa, made the vine-change & moved across from Melbourne. The vineyard includes 3 acres of Riesling, 2.5 acres of Shiraz & 1/2 acre of Semillon, all planted in 1929. Small parcels of Grenache, Mataro, Chardonnay & Cabernet are also purchased to broaden the line-up of wines on offer. The grapes are hand-picked each year & all wines (except the Riesling) are made onsite.
